Norwegian design – a view through the century

DogA (Norwegian Centre for Design and Architecture) in association with A-magasinet (Aftenposten’s own magazine) presents a project which aims at showing the diversity of Norwegian design, featuring its examples, produced during the last hundreds of years, and at encouraging a dialogue concerning what it could contribute to the future.

The exhibition will present 30 best samples of Norwegian design, carefully chosen by a professional jury according to the following criteria: cultural, historical, economic and social value of a piece as well as its innovation, form and aesthetics, functionality and user-friendliness. Nominees are presented in the following categories: package design; graphic, industrial, furniture, textile design; fashion, interaction and service design.
