Despite the fact that murders almost never take place in Sweden, the Swedish crime fiction has become very popular around the world over the short period of time. Born  in the end of the nineteenth century, it now gives us an opportunity to have a look at the neighbouring country from the strange point of view through different inquiries of crimes where not only the crime but also the inner world of the person is in the spotlight.

You will learn more about the rich story of the genre, masters and the most famous novels in the exhibition prepared by Lotta Olsson, the famous critic of the crime fiction department at «Dagens Nyheter» newspaper.
