KammerRomanse is a Russian-Norwegian band of 4 members living in different but neighboring countries and playing classical music. The quartet has been giving concerts in Northern Norway and Russia for the last few years, and now the band is ready to perform at the Barents Bird 2017 international cultural festival in Murmansk!
The first performance of «Polar Vortex» in Russia will be held in the Regional Philharmonic Hall pretty soon. The composition is written for clarinet solo and electronics and accompaniment by a composer Kristin Norderval, who flies from Oslo to give a concert. The program will also feature «Quartet» by an American composer Peter Schickele, «Karakeino Farvel» by Folke Strømholm and Georgiy Sviridov’s trio A-minor.
On April 27th the musicians will perform a concert in the Palace of Culture in Kirovsk.
