Hanne Ørstavik is one of the most significant writers of Norway.
At the age of 25 she presented her first novel "Cut", which attracted interest of both critics and readers. For her novel "Rectoress" she got prestige Norwegian literature award. But the real success came to her in 1997 after publication of the novel "Love".
Besides writing books Hanne also translates books from French to Norwegian. Her own books are translated into 25 languages, including Russian.
Reports and presentations, devoted to her best books, will be presented at open seminar.
